Still Catching Up...

I HAVE been making jewellery but I haven't had enough time to blog it.   So I will be posting a bit here & there when I get the time (there just aren't enough hours in the day what with working, family, my paper crafting & main blog + jewellery making - I'd love to do some sewing as well but that ain't gonna happen unless I win the lottery so I can give up work lol).  This necklace was made with some hand painted glass beads, some quartz crystal chips, crackle glass beads & faux pearls.

Catching Up...

I'm trying to add a few more piccies of jewellery that I have made over the past few months (I don't have much spare time so it could take a while lol).  These are a pair of earrings I made for my Mother-in-Law for Mother's Day.

Necklace & Earring Set

I brought 2 bracelets on ebay with these gorgeous heart beads & thought I would make some earrings & pendants with them (& there's loads left, I've also used them for a key chain which I will show later).

First Bracelet

I think you can tell it is my first attempt with headpins as the loops look a little big but for a first attempt I'm really pleased with it :)

Triple Thick Embossing Pendant

This pendant was made using a piece of thick cardboard cut into a rectangle.  I then painted it blue with a hint of silver, inked it with a clear embossing pad, sprinkled clear embossing power on & heated.  This was repeated 3 time & then while still hot I stamped a butterfly into it (inked with silver ink).  I finished off by inking around the edge & adding 3 gems.

First Children's Bracelets

These are very simple just beads threaded on to silver elastic cording & were made for my lil grandaughter Abigail.
