OMG! Where did that year go?

Well I know I don't post a lot on this blog cos I have my main blog Crafty Corner but I can't believe it is over a year since I last posted on here.  I must photo some of the jewellery I have made over the year (there's not a lot but I really need to keep a record).  I will start with my most recent make a beaded spider brooch that I made for Halloween.

I got the instructions HERE if you're interested.

I'm entering him in these challenges:

Tree of Life (first attempt)

Well this is far from perfect but ok for a first attempt I think (practice makes perfect), I do love the Peridot stones & hopefully if I have another go it will look better (& you never know I might even be able to wear it).

Favourite Set of Jewellery so Far...

I made this necklace, earrings & ring with August's challenge pack from Bright Sparkle Beads (I think it's a great idea, you buy a bag of surprise goodies & make something with them for the chance to win a voucher).  I didn't win but I do love these & I was really pleased that someone loved them as much as I do & bought the necklace & earrings (I kept the ring for myself cos it is my fav lol).

BMS Festival

I  had a jewellery stall at the Body, Mind & Spirit Festival on August Bank Holiday Monday & what a wonderful day it was.  My cousin Rae came along to help & it was great to catch up with her.  It was also great to get feedback & see what styles people like.  Here are a few photos - sorry they are not very good (I don't know why they are so grainy):

Cat Charm Bracelet

This is a charm bracelet for I made for my son Stuart's girlfriend Hannah for her birthday (she loves cats & her favourite colour is red).  For me charm bracelets are very time consuming but it can be such fun choosing what charms, beads etc you want to use :)

Wedding Jewellery

My eldest son Craig got married to his fiancee Zoe at the weekend & the day was absolutely perfect.  I was really pleased with my wedding outfit which was turquoise/teal (I will blog photos later) & I made this set of jewellery to go with it, made with freshwater pearls & shell.

Green Pearls

I just found a photo of another set I made a while ago using green pearls.

Craft Fayre 14th July

My friend Duang & I did a craft fayre last Saturday (it was only my 2nd) & it was very slow (I think the fact that you had to pay 50p to get in & that the place was quite hard to find put people off lol).  But I did sell a few things (more than I expected) & got some wonderful feedback from people :D

Sorry for the funny face, I was trying not to laugh

Wire Wrapped Bracelet

I love the look of these & really enjoy making them so I'm sure I'm going to make some more :)

I did make a couple more of these but forgot to photo them
